Seriously!
Some of you probably know by now that I have an overly curious two year old who is obsessed with physics. Ike likes to dump everything out. I mean EVERYTHING! Maybe he is going to be the next Issac Newton.
I had a big jar of minced garlic in the fridge. I really hate cutting up garlic. Ike dumped the jar all of over the carpet. Juice and all and very smelly! Todd tried to clean it up that night. The smell was still there strong in the morning. I sprinkled baking soda all over the floor and in about 15 minutes the smell was gone.
This is another wonderful reason I love baking soda. I am also in the process of thinking about going sham'poo' free and using only baking soda in my hair. I'll let you know how that goes.
My life is more crazy and hectic than it should be. I am also very unorganized. I am slowly changing that and would like to share as I go. I am going to talk about going green, things I do to save money, and working on a healthy family. One day at a time. I have 3 children, Josie who is 10yrs old and two babies Ike and Sam who are a year apart from each other. I am nursing and cloth diapering both babies so it does get crazy in my house. I will let you know how I manage as I figure it out.

Toliet bowl cleaner alternative.
I used baking soda to clean my toliet bowls yesterday. It was very easy I just poured some in the toliet and used the brush. They came out sparkly clean. I did not use any hash chemicals that are bad for the environment and getting into our water. It is also one less bottle of bulky plastic taking up to much space in the cupboard. Saves money too. Best of all if my babies get into it they are not going get sick.
